PS 82:1[NOTE]THE DIVINE ASSEMBLY. God stands up in a council of gods, elohim. Who are they? Human judges or spiritual beings? See the Big Question Ye Are Gods.
2“How long will you judge unjustly
and show partiality to the wicked?
Selah
3Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless;
uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.
4Rescue the weak and needy;
save them from the hand of the wicked.
5They do not know or understand;
they wander in the darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6I have said, ‘You are gods;
you are all sons of the Most High.’
PS 82:6[QUOTED]Quoted in the New Testament → JN 10:34
PS 82:6[NOTE]YOU ARE GODS. Jesus quoted this when He was accused of claiming to be God, John 10:34 to 36.
7But like mortals you will die,
and like rulers you will fall.”
8Arise, O God, judge the earth,
for all the nations are Your inheritance.

Nate's Highlighting Guide lists every prophecy, fulfillment, miracle and bloodline name in one place, so you can mark your own Bible with the same 15 colors.
TOM is The Owner's Manual, a free translation built on the Berean Standard Bible. It uses modern measurements, prints Yahweh where the Hebrew has God's name, and puts words missing from the earliest manuscripts in [square brackets]. Every change is listed in How It Was Translated.
What do the colors mean?
Each color marks one kind of verse: lime green for prophecies about the Messiah, teal for miracles, sand for archaeology, and so on. Tap any color in the chapter key to turn it off. Use Customize to choose exactly which ones you see.
Can I read without highlights?
Yes. Turn off the Highlights switch at the top for plain text. Your choice is remembered on this device.
Do the other translations have the colors too?
Yes. The colors, red letters, bloodline names and study notes come from TOM and are matched to every other translation verse by verse, so you can read the KJV, NIV or any other translation here with the same study helps.
Is this free?
Yes. The whole Bible is free to read online. The printed Owner's Manual Study Bible is coming soon.
