Sing to Yahweh, All the Earth// 1 Chronicles 16:23–36

1Sing to Yahweh a new song;

sing to Yahweh, all the earth.

2Sing to Yahweh, bless His name;

proclaim His salvation day after day.

3Declare His glory among the nations,

His wonders among all peoples.

4For great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised;

He is to be feared above all gods.

5For all the gods of the nations are idols,

but it is Yahweh who made the heavens.

  • PS 96:5[DEMONIC]The gods of the nations are idols

6Splendor and majesty are before Him;

strength and beauty fill His sanctuary.

7Ascribe to Yahweh, O families of the nations,

ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength.

8Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due His name;

bring an offering and enter His courts.

9Worship Yahweh in the splendor of His holiness;

tremble before Him, all the earth.

10Declare among the nations: “Yahweh reigns!”

The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved;

He will judge the peoples with equity.

  • PS 96:10[TEXT]FROM THE TREE. Justin Martyr, about 150 AD, quoted this verse as The Lord reigns from the tree, and said the Jews had cut out those words. No Hebrew copy has it, and the main Greek copies do not either. A few later Greek and Latin copies and an old Coptic version do. The Latin hymn Vexilla Regis sings it.

11Let the heavens be glad

and the earth rejoice;

let the sea resound,

and all that fills it.

12Let the fields exult,

and all that is in them.

Then all the trees of the forest

will sing for joy 13before Yahweh,

for He is coming—

He is coming to judge the earth.

He will judge the world in righteousness

and the peoples in His faithfulness.

  • PS 96:13[PROPHECY]Yahweh is coming to judge the world in righteousness → STILL TO COMEMEDIUM

What is TOM?

What do the colors mean?

Each color marks one kind of verse: lime green for prophecies about the Messiah, teal for miracles, sand for archaeology, and so on. Tap any color in the chapter key to turn it off. Use Customize to choose exactly which ones you see.

Can I read without highlights?

Yes. Turn off the Highlights switch at the top for plain text. Your choice is remembered on this device.

Do the other translations have the colors too?

Yes. The colors, red letters, bloodline names and study notes come from TOM and are matched to every other translation verse by verse, so you can read the KJV, NIV or any other translation here with the same study helps.

Is this free?

Yes. The whole Bible is free to read online. The printed Owner's Manual Study Bible is coming soon.
