Isaiah 12

Chapter 12 in 30 seconds

A short song for the day of rescue. God was angry, but His anger turned away and He comforted His people. Isaiah says you will draw water with joy from the wells of salvation. The Hebrew word for salvation here sounds like the name Yeshua, which is the name of Jesus.

Joyful Thanksgiving

1In that day you will say:

“O Yahweh, I will praise You.

Although You were angry with me,

Your anger has turned away,

and You have comforted me.

2Surely God is my salvation;

I will trust and not be afraid.

For Yahweh Yahweh is my strength and my song,

and He also has become my salvation.”

  • IS 12:2[PROPHECY]Called Yeshua → MT 1:21MEDIUM

3With joy you will draw water from the springs of salvation, 4and on that day you will say:

proclaim His name!

Make His works known among the peoples;

declare that His name is exalted.

Let this be known in all the earth.

for great among you is the Holy One of Israel.”

What do the colors mean?

Each color marks one kind of verse: lime green for prophecies about the Messiah, teal for miracles, sand for archaeology, and so on. Tap any color in the chapter key to turn it off. Use Customize to choose exactly which ones you see.

Can I read without highlights?
